Saeideh Abdollahi

I hold a PhD in Counseling and work as a university lecturer and family therapist with an attachment-based approach. My professional work is situated at the intersection of clinical practice, academic teaching, applied research, and the design of mental health interventions at individual, family, and community levels.

I am a certified Emotionally Focused Therapist (EFT) through the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT – Canada). Attachment theory forms the core of my clinical practice, with a particular emphasis on fostering emotional safety, repairing injured relational bonds, and strengthening long-term relational well-being.

In addition to EFT, I have completed specialized international training in intercultural therapy, work with immigrants and identity-related challenges, child and adolescent mental health, parenting, comprehensive sexuality education, and clinical hypnotherapy.

I am also the founder and director of Hoshmandsazi-ye Ma’na va Agahi (HOMA), a licensed mental health service institute focused on meaning-centered, preventive, and equity-oriented mental health services. Within this framework, ethical and human-centered applications of artificial intelligence are used as supportive tools to enhance access, prevention, crisis intervention, and community mental health empowerment.
