Client Focus:
I work with adults with neurological issues (such as dementia, stroke, seizures/epilepsy, brain tumors, learning and developmental disabilities, and other memory/thinking problems) and/or psychiatric issues (such as psychosis, trauma, immigration/asylum applications, or other complex symptoms).
Treatment Approach:
After the evaluation, I will meet with clients to help them better understand the nature and source of their cognitive and emotional difficulties. I will also provide detailed treatment and self-care recommendations to optimize their quality of life.
I am a clinical and forensic neuropsychologist (California license #PSY-30148). I provide evaluations of memory and thinking skills, and of psychological symptoms, in English or Persian (Farsi); I don't provide talk therapy.
