About the event
Can AI support human judgement without replacing it? What does ethical AI look like in a therapy supervision setting? How do we honor our humanity in a world shaped by intelligent technology?
This workshop explores the ethical use of AI in psychology and therapy supervision, and what it reveals about fear, trust, and our relationship with contemporary technology.
Drawing on Jila Behnad’s doctoral research, developed with AI pioneer Babak Hodjat, this workshop uses real world contexts to examine how human judgement can be preserved and enriched with responsible AI tools.
As part of the program, guest speaker Lydia Kostopoulos, PhD will join us to share her experience developing an AI application for her mother during her cancer journey. She will discuss the ethical considerations, safety guardrails, and human-centered design principles that shaped the app, offering a real world example of responsible AI innovation in practice.
